EA has officially announced EA Sports FC 24 with a trailer. The game is a sequel to FIFA 23 and uses a new name due to legal considerations.
The FIFA game series has been a guest in our homes every year since thirty years ago and has provided the fans with the latest football simulation experience. To date, this franchise has sold more than 300 million copies and has die-hard fans all over the world.
Despite the phenomenal sales of the FIFA series, in 2022 EA ended its thirty-year partnership with FIFA, saying that it did not intend to pay the high cost of using the FIFA brand. In this way, the right to use the FIFA name in the next version of this company’s football simulation will not exist.
EA instead chose the name EA Sports FC 24 for the next version of its football games and showed its first trailer yesterday.
What information does the EA Sports FC 24 game trailer contain?
In this trailer, the voice of Hollywood actor Daniel Kaluuya is used for narration and voiceover, and although there is no news of any technical details or information about the game, it is a narrative of the history of the FIFA game series and the impact of football on The people of the world are superimposed on pre-rendered images from the game.
In this trailer, we see football players from several different generations of this sport come together, and women’s football stars also have a large presence in it.
Of course, as mentioned, no gameplay details are shown in these trailers. However, EA has promised that the official EA Sports FC 24 launch trailer will be available to fans on July 13, 2023.
Thanks to services such as EA Play and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, PC and console gamers have had the chance to experience previous versions of the FIFA series without having to pay extra. Therefore, the same process is expected to be implemented in EA FC 24.
On the other hand, of course, the president of FIFA has also announced that the World Football Federation is still interested in making football simulation games and new football games under the FIFA license will soon be unveiled with new developers and publishers.
