With a strategic change, Google has changed its tracking tool to Find Hub. This new update is beyond a simple name and has new features.
Google finally completed the process of renaming the popular Find My Device tool, and from now on we have to get used to its new identity, Find Hub. This change, which was previously made in the app and the web version of the service, has now been fully replaced with the latest Google Play Services update in Android operating system settings.
It was an essential step for Google. Because the company also added to the service to the service. As a result, the name “Find my device” could no longer cover all the functions of this powerful tool. Now with this change, the service has become more comprehensive.
Farewell to find my depice and greeting to find hub
With the new Google Play Services update to version 25.20.37, all sections of the tracking tool in Android settings have been renamed the new name. If you refer to the Security & Privacy section in your phone’s settings, you will no longer see the “Find My Device” option, and the Find Hub will be displayed.
Entering this section also continues. The option previously known as “Use Find My Device” has now changed to “Allow Device to Be Located” (allowing the device to be located). The app access links and the web version at the bottom of the page have also been properly updated with the new brand to provide an integrated user experience.
These changes are made even in the Google Service menu, which is accessible by touching the username at the top of the settings page. This update is currently being released to Android users and is expected to apply soon to all devices.
