Rumors indicate that new BMW and Honda cars have arrived at Tehran customs. What are the characteristics of the new imports in Iran’s car market?
The car import oven is hot and the importing companies are trying to have a larger share of the import table by launching new products. There are whispers about the entry of two Honda car models and some new BMW products into the customs.
Arrival of new BMW and Honda cars at customs
Earlier, it was said that one of the importing companies decided to import two models of Honda cars to the market. Today, as we are writing this article, two Honda cars have arrived in the country and have been caught at the customs. Honda Integra and Honda ZR-V, which are imported to Iran from the Chinese market, are original and attractive products that can surpass their competitors in the next round of imported car sales.
Specifications and features of Honda Integra
The Chinese, under a joint venture with Honda, assemble the Civic and market it under the name Honda Integra. Of course, the Dongfeng-Honda joint venture continues to offer the Civic with the same name to the Chinese states. Integra, which has now reached Iran customs, is the 11th generation of Civic and has the following specifications.
Under the hood of the Integra is a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine that can produce 182 horsepower and 240 Nm of torque in ideal conditions. The driving force of this engine is transferred to the front axle through a CVT gearbox. In the front and rear, respectively, we see McPherson and Multilink suspension systems, so that this car can consume 6.3 liters of fuel per 100 kilometers. Integra features include:

Under the hood of the Honda ZR-V is a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine that can produce 182 horsepower and 240 Nm of torque in ideal conditions. The driving force reaches the front wheels through a CVT gearbox, and this imported car consumes 7.5 liters of fuel per hundred kilometers. Its features include:

BMW products in Iran
We said that in addition to the two Honda cars that are currently in customs, some BMW products have also entered the country. This group of cars, which are considered fully electric, will be offered by different companies, including Persia Khodro. It seems that three BMW car models, including ix3, i3 and ix1, will enter the market from China at the current stage.
Rumors suggest that the 35L version of the BMW i3 will enter the market. Under the hood of this electric car is a 280 horsepower electric engine with a maximum torque of 400 Nm. BMW i3 is a rear-wheel drive sedan that needs 6.2 seconds to reach 100 km/h. On the other hand, the range of this car will be 526 km thanks to a 70 kWh battery.
Another BMW car that has come to the market is the BMW ix1 in the 30L version. An engine is installed in each of the axles of this car, which can produce a total of 308 horsepower and 494 Nm of torque. It takes 5.7 seconds to accelerate to 100 km/s and can travel 450 km on a full charge.
The third car, which is the BMW ix3, has the same technical specifications as the ix1 model and is expected to be officially launched by the end of this year. A group of BMW products have now come to the veterans system with the help of Persia Khodro, the most important of which is the BMW 120i.
