Galaxy S25 Ultra leaks show evidence of high-speed UFS 4.0 storage. Samsung’s next Galaxy Unpacked event It’s slated for late January, which means we’re probably less than a month away from meeting the Galaxy S25 family. While we’ve already heard a lot about what we can probably expect, these last few weeks will be spent solidifying the remaining details.
According to Tekna Technology Media’s mobile news service, some files have been leaked recently Galaxy S25 We’ve checked with Ultra to see what they can tell us about the phone and confirmed things like its support for seamless A/B updates. We’ve dug further and found some more important details about how the phone arrived.
The last thing you want to do with a new smartphone is lose it (or break it). So you might be wondering what kind of support the Galaxy S25 Ultra will have to help monitor it. Unfortunately, we’re seeing hardware that says it doesn’t support Find My Device when it’s off like the Pixel 9.
Since this is the Ultra version of the S25 series, you’d only expect it to have a big, beautiful screen, and the files here show that the phone has the same 3120×1440 resolution as the S24 Ultra before it. While that doesn’t change, it looks like the S25 Ultra could at least get a slight boost in peak brightness, reaching a maximum of 3,000 lux in high-brightness mode. We also see evidence that the Galaxy S25 Ultra will come with a 5,000mAh battery.
There’s nothing too surprising about that, as this is the same capacity we had on the S24 Ultra, and existing rumors and surveillance files have already shown that it won’t change. It would be great if the memory details were as simple to confirm as the battery, and while we can’t answer all of these questions right now, these files suggest that the S25 Ultra will get high-speed UFS 4.0 storage. This type of memory helps in faster data transfer and better overall performance of the device and is an important feature for users who care about the speed and performance of their phone.
