Before the global unveiling of the Oppo Find X8 series, Oppo has announced that it will support Google’s Circle to Search feature.
According to Tekna Technology Media’s mobile news service, Oppo is going to introduce its new Find X8 series flagships globally on November 21. This is the first time in a few years that Oppo is launching an X-series device in global markets, and the launch is expected to be well received.
Simultaneously with the introduction of this device, a new version of the ColorOS operating system named ColorOS 15 will also be unveiled. This operating system is based on Android 15 and will be released for other Oppo devices in the coming months. One of the prominent features of this update is support for Google’s circular search feature.
Google’s circular search feature, which was first released on Samsung Galaxy and Google Pixel devices, has been extended to devices from other manufacturers such as Xiaomi, Honor and Motorola in recent months. Recently, OnePlus has also supported this feature in the OnePlus 12 device. It is not yet clear which of the Oppo devices except Find X8 and Find X8 Pro will benefit from this feature.
In addition, the ColorOS 15 update also includes new AI features, many of which have been developed using Google Gemini’s large language models. To see the latest news, refer to Tekna media technology news page.
