Samsung is working on a cheap version of the foldable Galaxy Z Flip 6

Apparently, Samsung has felt threatened by the folding phones of various Chinese companies. Because it wants to launch a cheap version of the foldable Galaxy Z Flip 6 under the name of Galaxy Z Flip FE.

Samsung officials assumed that after the initial success of the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5, foldable phones would be popular with users. However, this did not happen and still many users are reluctant to buy an expensive foldable phone. That’s why Samsung is trying to take a significant share of the market by offering a cheap version of the Galaxy Z Flip 6.

A Korean whistleblower recently released some interesting information from the Samsung summit. Apparently, they plan to unveil the Galaxy Z Flip FE at the same time as the Galaxy Z Flip 7. Instead, users can save between 200 and 300 dollars on the cost of buying a phone.

It is also said that Samsung wants to launch the Galaxy Z Flip 7 with a new external display. This display will be of high quality and convey the feeling of having a premium device to the user. Of course, this is not Samsung’s only plan to change the status of foldable phones. The Koreans are planning to release a special folding phone similar to the Huawei Mate XT, which folds in three parts.
