Xiaomi recently unveiled the prototype of its upcoming compact flagship. At first glance, Xiaomi 15 is very similar to the current Xiaomi 14. But upon closer examination, differences in the design details of these two phones can be seen.
According to Tekna Technology Media mobile news service, in this new model, Xiaomi has used a matte frame instead of the glossy frame of the previous models. Also, the frame of the Xiaomi 15 has a subtle curve that gives the phone a more modern look. Additionally, the camera’s LED flash has been moved outside the camera housing. These design changes are similar to Apple’s iPhone 16 series. However, the Xiaomi 15 still retains its unique features. The edges of the display of this phone have become much narrower and according to Xiaomi, they are only 1.38 mm thick. Also, Xiaomi 15 is equipped with an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor and three rear cameras.
One of the notable differences between the Xiaomi 15 and its predecessor is the telephoto camera. It seems that the focal length of the telephoto camera in Xiaomi 15 has been shortened. According to the available information, this camera supports a focal length of 14 to 60 mm, while this range was between 14 and 75 mm on the Xiaomi 14. Xiaomi is going to officially unveil Xiaomi 15 on October 29. It is expected that we will see the release of more teasers of this phone in the coming days.
