Xiaomi has just unveiled its first smartphones with the powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite chip. These phones will be fully introduced at the October 29 launch event in China. In this event, the company’s new series of Android tablets, Xiaomi Pad 7, will also be unveiled. However, the tablets of this series will not be as exciting as the new phones in terms of technical specifications.
According to Tekna Technology Media mobile news service, Xiaomi has confirmed that the Pad 7 Pro model will be equipped with the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chip. While the standard model of this series, according to sources, will use the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 chip. Both of these chips are in the category of powerful mid-range chips.
On the other hand, Xiaomi has announced that the Pad 7 series will be equipped with a very high quality display that is very suitable for daily use and especially office work. This 11.2-inch display with a 3:2 aspect ratio, 3200×2136 pixels resolution, 144 Hz refresh rate and 345 PPI pixel density provides very clear and smooth images. Also, rumors suggest that the Pad 7 Pro model will be equipped with DC dimming, support for 67W fast charging, and a 50-megapixel main camera.
Both Pad 7 series tablet models will come with HyperOS 2.0 operating system, which is developed based on Android 15. This operating system offers advanced artificial intelligence features and an improved user interface for a better user experience on tablets. Although the pricing details are yet to be announced, these tablets are expected to be launched in the global market in the near future.
