In October, the smartphone market will witness the unveiling of several new flagships equipped with the powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chip. Qualcomm is going to introduce this chip at the Snapdragon Summit 2024 event, which will be held on October 21-23.
According to Tekna Technology Media’s mobile news service, after the introduction of this chip, companies such as Xiaomi, Honor, iQOO and OnePlus are expected to launch their new flagship phones using Snapdragon 8 Gen 4. Also, rumors suggest that Realme is also developing the Realme GT 7 Pro phone with this chip.
According to the leaked information, the OnePlus 13 and Realme GT 7 Pro phones will be announced in late October and early November, respectively. OnePlus 13 will be equipped with an innovative design that combines glass with advanced materials. On the other hand, Realme GT 7 Pro will use a combination of glass and composite materials.
Expected specifications for the Realme GT 7 Pro include a 6.78-inch BOE X2 LTPO panel with a four-sided curved design, 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The main 50 megapixel camera, Sony LYT-600 ultra-wide camera and telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom and support for combined zoom up to 10x and digital zoom up to 120x will be other features of this phone. Physical camera control button, Android 15 operating system with Realme UI 6.0 user interface, Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chip, RAM up to 16 GB, internal memory up to 1 TB, 6000 mAh battery with support for 100 W fast charging and water resistance standard. IP69 dust is another specification. According to the predicted technical specifications, we can expect Realme GT 7 Pro to be one of the most powerful smartphones on the market.
