According to the latest auto news in the country, Mammoth Khodro, whose name was seen in the list of car manufacturers present at Tehran Auto Expo 1402, or Tehran Auto Expo, displayed the Jetta VS5 and of course the Jetta VS7 in this exhibition. These two crossovers from the Jetta brand, the result of a joint venture between Volkswagen and the FAW group, were offered by Mammoth Khodro some time ago through the integrated sales system. In 2019, Volkswagen and Fav Group established a brand called “Jetta” under which VS5, VS7 and VA3 have been sold. Jetta was previously the name of Volkswagen's popular sedan in the Chinese market, which was jointly produced by the German automaker and FAW Group. Finally, the managers of these two companies took advantage of the popularity of this name and launched their new brand in China with the name Jetta.

The VS7 Jetta mid-size crossover has a 1.4-liter 4-cylinder turbocharged engine from Volkswagen under its hood that can produce 148 horsepower and 250 Nm of torque. The power transmission of this 4-cylinder engine is carried out by a 6-speed automatic transmission that sends the power to the front axle wheels. Acceleration of this crossover from 0 to 100 km/h with this engine takes 9.8 seconds, while its fuel consumption in a combined cycle is estimated at 7.4 liters per 100 km.

Jetta VS7 was sold next to VS5 in the integrated system last fall, and the applicants who registered in this system in March of last year and were prioritized to receive the car, had the opportunity to buy this mammoth car product. This car was made available with a final price of 2 billion and 535 million tomans to be among the most expensive new imported cars in the Iranian market. Of course, the price of the Jetta VS7 in the open market is even higher than this and is in the range of 3.2 billion Tomans; A price that many may consider too high for a Chinese SUV.
