In this press conference, the new visual identity of the Pars server complex and also the sub-category of this company, namely Pars Host, was unveiled. Parshost is going to enter the field of cloud services with its new identity.

In this press conference, Ali Ketabi, the operational manager of Pars server complex, stated that filtering and restrictions prevent international activity. He added that due to internet restrictions and filtering, companies like us had to collect their services from abroad and bring them inside the country. Whereas if this compulsion did not exist, we could have good international services. But we had to do this because if the connection between Iran and abroad was interrupted, those who were on the server outside the country would face problems and think that we had interrupted this connection.

The operational manager of Pars server further pointed out the necessary conditions for doing international activities and said that when you set up a server outside of Iran, the cost of setting up its equipment is 5 thousand tomans, but then you see that the price of the dollar has reached 50 thousand tomans. Is. In such a situation, it is not possible to plan for capital return and there must be conditions for capital return.

The effects of filtering on Pars server business

Regarding the effects of filtering and Internet restrictions on the business of Pars Server Group, Ali Ketabi stated that filtering had both negative and positive effects. Due to filtering, many people needed virtual servers to open a series of sites, and for this reason, the number of virtual server customers increased.

He also informed about the high number of DDoS attacks and said that we have at least one DDoS attack every month and this has been growing in the last year. These attacks cause a lot of problems due to the lack of bandwidth in general. That is, before the traffic reaches our servers in the data center, the bandwidth is full, and the data center inevitably cuts off access to the external bandwidth so that the traffic decreases and the sites are available.

Also, problems such as power and cooling outages have affected our work, and to deal with these problems, we have done something so that if a problem occurs for a data center, only a part of our services will be affected. He added that we always wanted to have our own data center, but we know that there is no electricity and no water for a day in Iran. For this reason, we tried not to put our eggs in one basket and work with all data center companies in the country. Also, recently there have been problems on the internet that customers thought were from us and we had to explain to them that these problems have nothing to do with us.

At the end of his speech, the operational manager of Pars server emphasized that currently more than 100 thousand sites are hosted by Pars server complex and we hope that the new phase of the company’s services can help their expansion and growth in the future. The opening of the cloud data center will also be one of the future plans of Pars Server Group. Kebbi noted that Pars Hub is the main server of this collection and has different subcategories with separate brands and services. Parshost has also been unveiled as one of these subcategories with new colors and the site will be updated with new changes from next week.
