Last year, Google released the Pixel Watch for the first time as the company’s smart watch. Yesterday, this company introduced the second generation of its smart watches with more features and relative changes compared to the previous generation along with attractive features.
According to Tekna’s technology and technology news service, the new generation of Pixel Watch has a 1.2-inch AMOLED screen, which is protected by Gorilla Glass 5. The screen of this watch has a good resistance to scratches and can also support always-on technology.
A 306 mAh battery is used in this watch, which takes about 80 minutes to fully charge. On the other hand, according to Google, by charging this watch for only 30 minutes, you can use it for up to 12 hours.
Google made its previous watch with stainless steel, but the new version is made with a recycled aluminum body and is much lighter than the previous generation. Pixel Watch 2 will be able to automatically track the user’s sports activities and will not need manual activation.
Another new feature of the Pixel Watch 2 is the use of UWB ultra-wideband technology. The feature will allow better communication with other devices. Also, due to the use of new safety features, users can share their positions in real time with those around them.
The health sensors in the new watch have also been changed and more advanced sensors have been used. In addition to measuring heart rate and blood oxygen, the cEDA sensor is now placed in this watch as a skin temperature detector, which came from Fitbit watches to Google watches.
Another feature of Pixel Watch 2 is Fast Pair technology, which can be used to quickly and easily connect to Pixel phones and Pixel Buds. The ability to detect accidents and detect falls is also included in the new Pixel watch. Also, this watch can automatically call emergency services. Users of this watch can remotely control media playback on Pixel phones or Pixel Buds.
