The four-legged robot of Boston Dynamics will move towards recovery with changes. This spotted Nasser robot is used in exploration and guarding missions.
According to Tekna technology and technology news service, Boston Dynamics recently unveiled changes to its four-legged robot, one of which is the opening of doors by this robot.
According to the manufacturing company, 1000 robots from this company are currently operating in 35 countries of the world. But the recent improvements made in this robot provide more capabilities in addition to its high maneuverability. Most of the changes applied to this robot have been done for monitoring tasks. One of the new features is the permission to take photos by this robot. In addition, with the help of computer vision, it can read the data and publish its information on its own.
Before this, the ability of this robot to load doors was dependent on the presence of a human operator. While the new feature added to this robot will enable Spot to open doors automatically without the need for human intervention.
Another improvement is temperature monitoring through thermal cameras. In this case, warnings will be sent when the temperature of each tool decreases or increases. Of course, this robot can only detect incidents quickly while on guard duty, and currently does not have the possibility of crisis management.
