Google has always tried to chatbot in different ways Artificial intelligence Bard To strengthen itself and now in the latest reports published in this regard, the search engine giant has apparently decided to strengthen its artificial intelligence in such a way that it can provide useful advice about the lives of people who have gone through difficult times.
The New York Times notes in its new report that Google has tested its AI technology with at least 21 different tasks, including “life advice, ideas, planning guidelines and training tips.” Professional and personal scenarios that users may encounter have been used in this test.
According to one example mentioned in the Times report, Google’s artificial intelligence responded to a user’s request that he plans to attend a close friend’s wedding but is unable to pay for the travel expenses to do so.
The announcement comes as Google’s own safety experts warned in December that life-related advice provided by artificial intelligence could lead to “reduced health and well-being” and that there was even the possibility that some users would be mistaken. They think artificial intelligence is smart and capable.
When Google launched its Bard AI in March 2023, it said the tool was prohibited from advising users on medical, financial or legal matters. It remains to be seen whether Google will prioritize user well-being when launching these new features.
Providing life advice isn’t the only feature Google is working on for its Bard AI. The search engine giant’s other projects include tools that can generate scientific and creative writing, help journalists write headlines, and find and extract patterns from text.
