Nano Banana 2 model was introduced; Google’s strongest artificial intelligence

Google’s new and powerful artificial intelligence called its imager Nano banana 2 (Nano Banana 2) introduced and released for free users. Also known as Gemini 3.1 Flash Image, this model brings the professional and paid features of the previous version to the public at an unprecedented speed.

According to Google, Nano Banana 2 provides the ability to produce images with accurate and readable text, use real-time web information to create infographics, and maintain facial stability for up to five different characters for free.

Previously, to access these advanced features, users had to purchase Google’s paid subscriptions, i.e. Plus, Pro or Ultra. But now Nano Banana 2 has removed these restrictions.

Google DeepMind product manager Naina Raisinghani explains that the model can draw specific subjects and graphs of data with high accuracy by connecting to Gemina’s knowledge base and performing real-time web searches. Also, users now have full control over aspect ratio and output resolution (from 512 pixels to stunning 4K quality).

Introducing Google Nano Banana 2 artificial intelligence

Nano Banana 2 combines the high processing speed of flash models with the visual quality of Pro versions, creating images with more natural lighting, richer textures and sharper details.

Google engineers have optimized this version so that it executes complex text commands of users much more accurately. One of the biggest improvements of this model is the ability to maintain visual consistency throughout a project; So that designers can keep the appearance of up to five characters and 14 different objects completely constant in several consecutive images (such as storyboards). This high speed allows users to apply multiple edits to their images in a very short time.

Google has made this new model available to users in the Geminai application, the artificial intelligence section of the search engine, Google Lens, the Flow video creation tool, and the Google advertising platform. From today, Nano Banana 2 replaces the Pro version in various modes of image production in the Geminai application. Of course, Google still keeps Nano Banana Pro accessible to paid subscribers so they can restore their images to the previous model via the three-dot menu for more specialized tasks.
