Samsung apparently plans to feature Now Brief coming soon with smarter offers from YouTube and Spotify slow update
The Now Brief feature, which offers a “personalized summary of selected content,” is currently only active on a limited number of Samsung devices, but evidence suggests that the feature will soon be available on older Galaxy models as well. Although this has not happened yet, new information indicates a significant improvement in the quality of YouTube and Spotify offers in this service.
Personalized YouTube and Spotify recommendations in Samsung’s Now Brief
A review of the latest version of One UI 8.5 reveals new details about Now Brief’s enhancements. Based on these findings, Now Brief is able to analyze your interests on YouTube and provide more accurate suggestions. For example, the service can identify videos related to popular sports teams, travel content, or other videos that may be of interest to you.

Also, according to the information in this software, Now Brief will need to get permission to access your liked videos on YouTube. By granting this access, offers become more personalized and more accurate, and you get more relevant content, making Now Brief a more effective way to reach YouTube content.
On the Spotify side, leaks from One UI 8.5 show that Now Brief can suggest playlists based on the user’s mood, seasons, and different times of the day, such as afternoon, night, rainy days, or weekends. In addition, this service has the ability to display special playlists for important occasions and events such as birthdays and New Year.
Users will likely appreciate Now Brief’s new enhancements to YouTube and Spotify recommendations. These changes will be experienced for the first time with the release of One UI 8.5 beta version. According to the published information, the early beta version may be available from December 8 and Samsung is trying to prepare this update before the possible unveiling of the Galaxy S26 in January.
Although One UI 8.5 has not yet reached beta stage, early reviews suggest that this version offers improvements in lock screen personalization, saving camera settings in Pro mode and other features, improving the user experience.
