A review of the Google application code shows that an “image generation” option with the Nano Banana artificial intelligence model may soon be available to users in the search section.
According to Android Authority, the evidence obtained from a recent investigation shows that Google is testing the direct addition of the Nano Banana option to the artificial intelligence mode within its search application. For this purpose, a new option called “Create images” or creating an image under the + icon has been seen in the search bar of the Google application.
The Nano Banana image generator is added to the Google search application
An important advantage of this new feature is that instead of having to go to a separate tool for image generation, users can generate creative AI-generated images through Nano Banana just by using the search bar.

Nano Banana’s generative AI is known for its ability to produce photorealistic images and flexible editing tools. The recent upgrade of the service to Nano Banana Pro also brings users better resolution, more accurate text rendering, and more control over lighting, focus, and layout.
If the Nano Banana AI model spreads across Google’s ecosystem, it’s a sign that image generation is about to become a default feature in many of Google’s everyday tools. For example, the new Circle to Search AI mode that provides better answers, when combined with Nano Banana’s built-in image generation capabilities, can turn Google Search into a complete creativity hub.
Currently, there are many models available to users for image production with artificial intelligence, but Nano Banana has been able to revolutionize image production with its advanced capabilities. The images produced by this model look much more realistic than the competition and can make it easier for content producers who are looking to speed up their work.
