Mohammad Ali Shirazi, at the annual conference of the capital market, announced the targeted programs of OTC in the field of digital assets and technology development.
Emphasizing that these actions are carried out within the framework of regulations and with an approach in line with international standards, he stated that the main goal of these programs is to promote efficiency, transparency, security and fairness in transactions.
Shirazi considered the six main axes of transformation in the stock exchanges to be “security of investors’ property, transparency of information, access without time and place restrictions, speed of settlement, fairness of transactions and reduction of costs”.
According to him, new technologies such as artificial intelligence, distributed ledgers (DLT), digital assets, quantum computing, big data analysis and robotic automation play a key role in realizing these goals.
Shirazi also explained that artificial intelligence can be used in processes such as accepting publishers, analyzing financial statements, monitoring the performance of companies, identifying violations and matching transactions with regulations.
