The broadcast of “Bamdad Khamar”, the second series of Mrs. Narges Abiyar, finally started on Shida platform after many struggles; A platform that has only had one exclusive series so far, and it was not a good series, and it is clear that with the broadcast of Bammad Khamar, it plans to carve out a place for itself among the main home broadcast platforms. This stubbornness of Shida is commendable that she didn’t leave the arena with the broadcast of a series like others, but can the second series of Mrs. Abiyar, which started airing one week after the end of the first season of their previous series, be the savior of Shida?
The story of Bammad Khamar series is the usual story; A story that everyone loves, or has experienced and lived: the story of a failed love that this time happens between an aristocratic girl and a boy from the bottom of society.
Like the previous work of Narges Abiyar, the Bammad Khamar series is an adaptation work, and the author of the source of the adaptation is exactly the same as the previous work of a woman. Mrs. Fatane Haj Seyyed Javadi became the star of popular literature in the 70s by writing Bamdat Khamar. The book sold hundreds of thousands of copies and was translated into German, Italian, Greek, English, etc. and spread around the world.
Until now, many attempts were made to adapt the book of Bammad Khamar, but finally Mrs. Abiyar’s work came to fruition and was produced and distributed. As it turns out, the production of this series started immediately after Sushun, his previous series, and both went through the post-production stages in parallel. At least from my side, I have never seen anything like it, and it remains to be seen whether it will affect the quality of the series in the future.

The first part of the series begins in the sixties and during the war and shows a girl who runs away to her elegant aunt’s house in order not to go to the city with her family and leave her lover alone for fear of being bombed by the Iraqis. The aunt also starts to tell her love story, that she was an aristocratic girl, and she met a muscular young man during her marriage ceremony and fell in love with him wholeheartedly.
So far, and only in terms of adaptation and story, the work is several steps behind the previous series of Mrs. Abiyar, and thanks to the short airing interval of Bammad Khamar and Sooshun, it has been possible for all viewers to better compare these two works, and even this unconscious comparison occurs, if that one was like that, why is this one like that?

Why that story is important and patriotic, and why this story is populist?
Of course, Ms. Abiyar has always been an acceptable director and tried to cover other weaknesses with technique and spending a lot of money. Bammad Khamar is very different from the previous series in terms of direction and does not have the literary atmosphere that prevails in Suvshun. Visually, when it tells the story of the events of the sixties, the frame is the size of televisions of that time, and we don’t know why when we go to the Qajar era and Ammekhanam’s youth, the frame becomes wide and long; As if a form is not needed and only the appearance is important. Like the appearance of the actors “Terlan Parvaneh” and “Navid Porfaraj”, who do not remind the youth of the last century and seem to be living right now; From their hairstyles to their looks and morals.

The actors of Badam Khamar seem to have been chosen only for their beauty and charm; Even though Navid Porfaraj has a good performance and Terlan Parvaneh tries to show his mischievousness. The other actors of the work were “Ali Mosfa”, “Laleh Eskandari”, “Marjane Golchin”, “Tezham Borumand” and “Behnoosh Bakhtiari”, both of whom had short roles in the previous series, which again shows a parallel work. Even though the actors are lovable, they don’t grab the heart for these roles, they don’t engage the audience that much, and they don’t have a special performance, which may be the result of the director being involved in two series at the same time. In any case, you have to watch the next episodes and decide, because currently the best series currently airing on the home show network is Hamad Khamar, which is aired every Monday on Shida.
