Projects feature released for free ChatGPT users
Overall, projects is a feature similar to advanced folders for ChatGPT conversations, but features such as determining custom instructions on how to respond to artificial intelligence or restrict information and files that can refer to them make this feature a practical option for professional users.
Openai has also increased the number of files that can be added to a project so that ChatGPT can refer to them. So free users can upload up to 2 files, and Plus subscribers can upload up to 5 files. The Peruvian subscribers have also been allowed to load 2 files.
Also, all ChatGPT users, regardless of premium or free, can also customize their project color and icon. Projects feature is available for free users on the ChatGPT Android app and app. The ChatGPT Chat Chats app will also receive this feature in the coming days.
Openai has also made some of the ChatGPT premium features available to free users over the past few years. For example, Deep Research and ChatGPT Voice capabilities were first released exclusively for the company’s Premium users and then made available to all users.
After introducing the new GPT-5 model, Openai also set the model with restrictions on free users to encourage them to buy a Peruvian or Plus subscription without restriction.
