Apple may use Jina’s artificial intelligence in the new version of Siri

Bloomberg Magazine has claimed that Apple is negotiating with Google to use the Jina’s artificial intelligence in the redesigned version of Siri. This can be a key step towards outsourcing part of Apple’s artificial intelligence technology.

Informed sources have told Bloomberg that Apple has recently made contacts with Google to check out the possibility of building a proprietary artificial intelligence model, a model that may be used next year as the base of the Siri version. The informed sources also said that Google had begun a model training that could run on Apple servers.

This is part of Apple’s efforts to offset the backwardness in the field of artificial intelligence. Earlier this year, Apple also explored the opportunity to work with Antropic and Openai companies to see if they could use their models for the upgraded version of Siri.

According to Bloomberg, Apple’s final decision will be made in the next few weeks. Apple has to decide whether it wants to use its internal models for the next version of Siri or to work with another company. Apple and Google spokesmen have refused to comment.

Of course, the value of Apple and Google’s stocks on the stock market after the release of the Bloomberg report on the collaboration of the two technology giants came to grow.

This change in Apple’s strategies is followed by a delay in the release of a more advanced version of Siri, a version that was supposed to be equipped with advanced artificial intelligence capabilities. Apple was initially planning to release this release last spring, but due to technical and engineering problems, its release was postponed to year 6.

The delay in the supply of Siri also dismissed and replaced some of Apple’s senior executives. Apple abandoned his artificial intelligence chief John Jianandia from Siri development and transferred the project to Craig Fedreigi, software director, and Mike Rockwell, the creator of the Vision Pro headset.
