While only a few days have passed since the official GPT-5 release, Reddit users criticized the technical problems and reduced the quality of the responses over the previous version of the GPT-4O in a direct conversation with Sam Altman and the model’s development team.

Altman explained that the reason for this problem was the disorder of the new Gpt-5 router system; The ability to choose the most appropriate model based on the type of request. According to him, the disorder has made the GPT-5 look part of the “less intelligent” day. He promised to select the correct model by modifying the system and changing the “decision -making boundary” and also to determine which model would provide.

One of the controversial points of the unveiling event was a gross mistake in a chart known as “chart crime” or “graphic crime”. In this image, the chart rods were displayed with the wrong scale, and this became the subject of humor. Altman in the social network X described the mistake as “a major graphic disaster”.

However, Altman promised to double the use of Plus users’ use rates so that they would have more opportunity to get acquainted with the Gpt-5. It also announced that the PLUS subscribers are being reviewed for Plus subscribers.

“We are still trying to increase the stability of the service and listen to users’ feedback,” Altman said at the end of the online meeting.
