HTC has officially competed with popular products such as Ribn Meta’s smart products with a new smart glasses called Vive Eagle. This product, which is currently limited to the Taiwan market, is trying to consolidate its place by combining style design, artificial intelligence and a powerful camera.
The remarkable success of Riben Meta’s smart glasses, which have received a good welcome from users and critics, have attracted HTC’s attention. The Meta product implemented a successful formula by offering internal speakers, cameras and virtual assistants. Now, HTC has entered the field with a similar approach, though in brand cognition, there will be a difficult way to compete with a big name like Riben.
Weighing only 49 grams, only one gram is heavier than its competitor and with its minimalist design, hides advanced technologies in a simple look. One of the most prominent features of these glasses is its 12 -megapixel camera that supports artificial intelligence based on voice steering. The system is compatible with platforms such as Openai and Google’s Jama, allowing users to easily shoot with the “Hey Vive, Photo” voice command.
In addition, users are provided for users such as recording, audio note, restaurant offer and live translation into 13 different languages, including English, French, German, Italian and Arabic. The open audio system of these glasses also allows the user to listen to their music or notifications without disturbing those around them and to stay aware of their surroundings at the same time.
The 235 mAh battery of the Vive Eagle lasts up to 36 hours in ready -made mode and 4.5 hours for music playback. Also, magnetic fast charging technology also charge the battery in just 10 minutes to 50 %. The product comes in Taiwan for $ 15,600 (about US $ 520), which makes it more expensive than most Riben Meta models. No information has been released on the global release of this product. To remember, such a product will not be a direct competitor to Apple’s smart glasses because Apple’s product will be much higher and more features.
