To enable this option, simply enter the “Image” section after searching and select the “Hide” option from the new “Artificial Intelligence Pictures” menu. This filter is also available from the settings section.
Duckduckgo says this feature is presented in response to users’ concerns about saturation of search results with artificial images (sometimes of poor quality and misleading). Of course, the company has emphasized that the filter does not eliminate all artificial intelligence images, but it significantly reduces their volume.
The feature was released while Google was criticized last year for over -displaying images produced with artificial intelligence rather than real images.
Duckduckgo has also promised to add more filters to its search engine in the future.
