Hollywood has been seeing its profits in the endless cycle of reconstruction and franchises, and this time it has come to one of the most popular teenagers, “How to Train Your Dragon”. If we hadn’t seen the original version – during this time with all the cartoons and movies that came out in this franchise, it would have been difficult to adapt to children’s books. But what is the value of the film made of frame from the original film? Even Dean Deblua, the director of all the films “How to Train Your Dragon”, has returned to the director for a new Live and repeated his career! In criticizing the film “How to Train Your Dragon”, I will not need to make my own beam reconstructions that do not need to see any audience.
Warning! There is a danger of going to the movie “How to Train Your Dragon”
Criticism of the movie “How to Train Your Dragon”; Ride on familiar winds
The Lives movie “How to Train Your Dragon” is a monotheistic reconstruction of animation that the author and director also brought to the original version. If you are not familiar with the former film, I have to say that the story “How to Train our Dragon” is precisely the first film, which is an adaptation of the Cersa Cowell Children’s Book. The story goes into an imaginary city called Burke that is constantly under the devastating attacks of the dragons. Citizens of Burke are Vikings who have trained these dragons since childhood. One of these Vikings is a boy named Hikap (who plays his role in Mason Thames’s new film) who wants to step in the path of his father and the leader of the people of Burke, Stevic (Gerard Butler); But it shows a weakness of itself.
In one of the attacks, Hikap finally succeeds in kneeling one of the most scary types of dragons, known as Night Fury. But in the face of night anger, there is a friendly connection between the Hikup and the boy that does not allow Hikap to finish the dragon’s work. With the progress of friendship between him and the night anger (called the nobleman), there are difficulties for Hikup that is due to the prejudices, beliefs and traditions that are commonplace among the people of Burke and do not allow them to make dragons as a friend.
As you would expect, the story shows the continuation of the Hikup and the Non -Knowledge friendship process and the coexistence between the Vikings and the dragons. Like the original film, the story ends with a loud action scenes and a message of empathy, friendship and peace; A standard teenage story with conventional ethical messages, which, of course, has a message of peace with different groups and groups in the new film with different actors for sub -roles. That’s why the film has been added half an hour. Of course, I do not know what is the benefit of a movie that is essentially a child and adolescent who has to pay attention to today’s limited content, how it is about the other half an hour.

One cannot deny that “How to Train Your Dragon” is a good -natured teenage film with great special effects that you will probably enjoy the movie if you haven’t passed the original movie. The decor, clothing and design of characters and dragons in the new film are made exactly from the original version; A reconstruction that must have its own difficulties and has its beauties in the form of a live. But the precise repetition of all this in the film, with the exception of the difficulty of the Decor and CGI, proves that the original animation “How to Train Your Dragon” is a finished film, and it is not unpopular after years. But one cannot simply go through the question, what if there is no defect in the movie, what is the need to rebuild it? If there is nothing new to say, what is the need to repeat the frame to the animation frame? Just after just five years from the original version!
This year we have had other livestock reconstruction of popular animations such as “Lilo and Stich” and “Whitebird”; Reconstruction that has no justification for building them. But if these two lives have changed the original story (and of course they have been ruined!), “How to Train Your Dragon”; I have rebuilt the same film; From the story and the characters to the characters and the key frames of the movie.
Although Mason Thames seems to be made for the role of the Hikap, how can he be considered separately from the animated version Especially as the Thames strives to rebuild every hiking of animation. Gerard Butler and Nick Frost also have an acceptable performance that is admirable in itself; But it is not independent or fresh. Even Batler’s presence is not new; Because in the first film, he dubbed the stoic and has now returned to the role.
The only difference can be seen in sub -characters such as Strerid (Nico Parker) and Fishing (Julien Denison) that they are no longer like the Vikings (though in a world full of colorful dragons, rainbow characters are not the most imaginative and more time to imagine). Of course, these characterizations are quickly abandoned in favor of achieving exciting and action sections and do not have much effect on changing the story process. It can be said that except for these actors, who are still trying to provide thick performances similar to animation, “How can we train our dragon” with the initial version of any hair; Especially that the filmmakers rely on computer effects to rebuild images, locations, and basically anything other than the actors.
“How to Train Your Dragon” is nothing but a futile reconstruction

The early days of the Live Fever began, films such as Alice in Wonderland, Tim Burton, Cinderella and the Jungle Book, were able to present new views of familiar stories using the capabilities of this medium. The success of these reconstructions has gradually become a unnecessary money -making formula for large studios (specifically Disney) that want to achieve the least risk and the highest profit.
Today’s livestock reconstruction is not added to the original source, and even seeing them for younger audiences whose original films have not seen. What does it prevent kids from watching movies from previous decades? Except that their fathers trapped in nostalgia, excuse their children to go to these IPs again? Some whose age has not reached a baby, but they themselves have grown up with the franchise “How to Train Your Dragon”, feeling responsible for their shoulders to see whatever is in a hiking and anonymous.

But it is a fundamental difference between the new film and any other content that has come out so far. From books to the various cartoons and films “How to Train our Dragon”, each expands the world of hikups and dragons. Lives, however, with the return of all the original beads, it has no independent nature, no new element adds to this franchise, and there is nothing but a mere reconstruction that we had seen fifteen years ago.
Some of the lower quality of animation may be excused and dated to give it a studio’s excuse to rebuild the film. But its original film and other older titles, such as “Lilo and Stich” and “Whitebeafi”, are still very attractive because of their specific directing and visual style. For children, who make up the majority of these films, it is the difference between how far the animation is realistic or not. They are looking for a fun and fun story and have nothing to do with the quality of animals. The films I mentioned have great stories and are just more attractive than today’s artistic creativity and painting and animation.
Positive Tips
- Good special effects
Negative points
- Reconstruction of frame to frame from the original movie
- Long -prolonged the film by dealing with the suburbs and sub -characters
The film “How to Train Your Dragon” is the first Reconstruction of DreamWorks, which does not provide a good model for other possible reconstruction in the future. Instead of going to the world of Burke and the Vikings with a new view, DreamWorks continue to ride on nostalgia and Hollywood mere reconstruction, and Hollywood studios leaders are not tired of pulling the formula. But in a few years, will it remain a new title to make the Lives version? Even now the reconstruction of the “Moana” is under construction. It looks like the day that the new Hollywood ideas are drawn is not so far.
