Focusing on the strategic development of artificial intelligence technology in the country, the subject of this evolutionary technology was discussed in the Expediency Council’s Scientific, Cultural and Social Commission. The meeting was followed by a referral by the Secretary of the Assembly, attended by representatives from the Deputy Minister of Science, the Ministry of Science, the Ministry of Communications, the Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution and the Industrial Commission.

Afshin said that artificial intelligence programs are categorized into two axes of “infrastructure” and “application”, adding: “Our support for the development of artificial intelligence -based services has begun with close cooperation with ministries to stimulate market demand.” A comprehensive plan in the field of education, software development and hardware and utilization of the capacity of Iranian specialists at home and abroad is designed and implemented.
