According to a report from Bloomberg, Google has been experimenting with adding ads to third -party artificial intelligence interfaces for the past few months.
The company has provided artificial intelligence developers through the AdSense platform to create a new way to make money from emerging technologies.
Starting advertising in artificial intelligence chats
Advertising has always been the main column of Google’s revenue, and the company has been trying to consolidate its position for years by dominating the adtech technology industry. This powerful position ultimately led to anti -Semitic complaints against Google in the United States, but Google is still looking for new ways to expand advertising and wants to link it to the growing world of artificial intelligence.
According to the present report, Google has been able to display advertising in some third -party chats, such as IASK and Liner since the beginning of 2025. This feature, which is currently available to a limited group of developers, can be wider in the future. Previously, most artificial intelligence chats did not advertise, but Google is looking to change the process.
A spokesman for Google has told Bloomberg:
“AdSense for Search is available for websites that want to display relevant ads in their conversation experiences.”
This approach reflects Google’s new strategy to make money from artificial intelligence.
The development of artificial intelligence is costly and its profitability in the short term. Companies like Openai have also predicted that they will not benefit by 2029. In this situation, Google, with a widespread experience in advertising and diversity in services, is trying to make the profitability faster. Adding ads to chats is similar to the model that Google has used for years for websites and apps.
This is not Google’s first experience in combining artificial intelligence ads. Late last year, the company also displayed advertising in the artificial intelligence section of its search results. Google seems to be determined to gain a greater share of the rapid growth of the artificial intelligence market, and advertising will still be a key tool to achieve that goal.
