Mustafa Taheri, head of the Majlis Artificial Intelligence faction, announced that the National Artificial Intelligence Development Plan, which has been finalized by the Committee on Industries and Mines, would soon be referred to the Majlis public.
The project focuses on axes such as manpower, data centers and laboratories, citing the assignments of the Seventh Development Plan and aimed at organizing and developing artificial intelligence infrastructure.
Taheri emphasized that the approach of this plan is a development and seeks to strengthen the country’s technological independence.
At a meeting with Kerman technology companies, Taheri described the collection and management of data as the heart of artificial intelligence development and cited the country’s data management law as a key step.
The law, referred to in the seventh development plan, organizes the data exchange structure and reinforces economic transparency.
He added that the National Artificial Intelligence Plan, with the direct supervision of the President, is seeking to develop advanced ecosystem for Iran among the four leading countries in this area by year 5.
Taheri and other speakers, including the head of the Kerman Chamber of Commerce, in a meeting with Kerman Technology Companies, criticized the lack of use of large mining companies for the capacities of the knowledge -based law.
These companies, with the withdrawal of their profits, have prevented investment in technology and the growth of knowledge -based companies.
The National Omid’s National Scout, held in Kerman on May 8 and 9, is an opportunity to attract investment in the field of knowledge.
Also, programs for the launch of the ICT and Data Center in Kerman with the participation of the private sector were put forward to make the province a pioneer of technology.
