Claude Claude Chats can now search the web. This feature is currently experimenting with monetary users in the US, and Anthropics has announced that free users and other countries will soon have access to it.
New feature of Claude; Search on the web for more detailed answers
According to Anthropic, users can enable this feature through profile settings in the Web Claude app. Web search is now available only on the latest Claude 3.7 Sonnet model. Anthropic wrote on his blog:
“When Claude receives information from the web, it cites resources directly so that users can check its accuracy. “This feature expands Claude’s knowledge database with up -to -date insights and offers responses based on the latest information.”
In initial experiments, the web search was not always activated for questions related to day -to -day events, but when it was activated, it provided responses with reputable sources, including social networks and media such as “NPR” and Reuters.
This feature brings Claude to the surface of other artificial intelligence chats such as ChatGpt, Jina and Le Chat. Anthropic had previously argued that Claude was designed for self -sufficient performance, but now it seems that competitive pressure has changed the approach of the company.
A new transformation in Claude Redler
However, there is still a possibility of error and miscretion of web resources; A problem that other chattes also deal with. Recent research has shown that robots such as ChatGPT and Jenya provide inaccurate responses in more than 60 % of cases. Also, a report from the Guardian showed that the “ChatGpt Search” sometimes produces completely misleading summaries.
