Some owners of Apple’s handsets who were supposed to receive Apple’s Intelligence Intelligence have complained about what the company reads incorrectly.
The complaint was filed on Wednesday in the US regional court in San Jose California against Apple. The complaint seeks to determine the legal status and receive damage by customers who have purchased iPhones equipped with Apple Intelligence and other devices. The plaintiffs claim that Apple’s artificial intelligence capabilities have not received the promise made for their devices.
Apple has repeatedly delayed the release of Apple Intelligence
“Apple’s advertising has created a clear expectation for the consumer, which will be available after the iPhone released,” the plaintiffs said in their complaint. “Contrary to the accused’s claim of advanced artificial intelligence capabilities, it provides a very limited version of Apple Intelligence and misleads consumers about its actual application and performance.”
Apple has repeatedly delayed the release of Apple Intelligence’s new capabilities, and today it has failed to deliver promises to its customers. Bloomberg had earlier reported that Apple CEO Tim Cook had lost his confidence in the capabilities of John Jianandia, the head of the company’s artificial intelligence unit.
But Apple’s troubles are not just about the launch of Apple Intelligence, and the company is facing more serious problems in developing artificial intelligence products. Apple has recently announced that it has postponed the advanced version of Siri to year 5. This comes as Apple was set to launch this release this month.
Some sources have reported that the flaws found in the new version of Siri may force Apple to develop these capabilities from the beginning. Bloomberg had earlier reported that Apple’s chief executive Robbie Walker had called the delay in the advanced version of Siri as ugly and embarrassing.
