Google has just updated its responsible and human-based artificial intelligence page and has eliminated words such as diversity, fairness and minority groups. The team is responsible for investigating the safety, justice and transparency of artificial intelligence.
Google and eliminate diversity and fairness from the responsible artificial intelligence team
According to TechcRunch, in the previous version of this page, terms such as “driven societies”, “diversity”, “less -drawn groups” and “fairness” were used to describe the team’s activities, but now these words have either been deleted or have been replaced in more general terms such as “all”.
The Midas Project supervisory group, which has noticed these changes, announced on social media that Google has made the reforms on February 26 to March 6 (March 7). These changes came after Google had been removed from its startup fund page in early February (mid -February). The company has also announced that it will abandon the diversity -based recruitment goals and will review its diversity, fairness and diversity programs.
Google changes in artificial intelligence policies and elimination of equality

In recent months, several major technology companies, including Amazon and Meta, have also reduced their Dei programs. Openai has also recently deleted the diversity from its recruitment page. The changes are made when the Trump administration is trying to declare diversity -based recruitment programs illegally, but unlike other companies, Apple has resisted pressures and has recently opposed shareholders’ proposal to remove Dei programs.
Many of these technology companies, including Google, have contracts with US government agencies, and this is probably one of the reasons for their decision to adjust Dei programs.
