The Hakaton Artificial Intelligence event was organized by the Tehran Chamber of Commerce’s Digital Innovation and Transformation Center in collaboration with its new business group and Nextra Innovation Center.
Continuous recording and transfer of data between smart devices and machines can provide many opportunities for the growth of different industries and businesses. This data helps industries to identify and resolve them quickly by using artificial intelligence and data analysis, problems and inefficiency in the supply and production chain. This process improves machinery performance and increases production and income. Using smart and connected devices, businesses will be able to collect and analyze data faster. This helps to increase development and performance and save time and costs.
In Hakaton Artificial Intelligence, the issue for participants was predicting the crash of industrial equipment bearings, which is one of the key challenges in the field of repair and maintenance. This was defined by technical managers of Zarrin Industrial and Mining Group. One of the most important goals of this event was to provide networking opportunities for industry and innovation ecosystem, familiarity with the various issues of industry, and the use of artificial intelligence capabilities as a solution for industry.
Following the release of the call for the Hakaton Artificial Intelligence event on the Tehran Chamber of Commerce’s website, 4 people registered to participate in the event. After the screening process, four people were selected to attend the event and entered its implementation.
In the first phase of the artificial intelligence Hakaton event, welcome to the participants, and the complete Hacaton process, including how to run the event, team, and interact with mentors were carefully explained. Then, detailed outline of the industrial issue and the importance and necessity of this challenge were discussed and artificial intelligence -based technical solutions were introduced.
After the participants were introduced to each other and their team to four teams, including industrial managers and artificial intelligence professionals, each team provided algorithms and solutions based on programming and artificial intelligence. At all these stages, participants benefited from the specialized industry and technical mentoring to achieve the desired output. Finally, the results of each team were uploaded to each team’s proprietary Google Drive links.
After receiving the outputs, each team presented the results of their work against the jury for 5 minutes in the presence of artificial Hakaton mentors. The referees then evaluated and judged the teams and the final score of each team was calculated. In the end, after summing up the referees’ comments and points, the top team was selected and honored with awards. The manders and referees present at the event were also appreciated.
