French President Emmanuel Macron announced Thursday that the United Arab Emirates will invest between € 5 billion and € 5 billion to build Europe’s largest artificial intelligence center in France.
The French president announced on Thursday that the United Arab Emirates will invest billions of euros to build a huge artificial intelligence center in the country.
“The data center will be a new artificial intelligence campus and will have a capacity of up to one gigawat,” said Emmanuel Macron.
The deal was part of a larger artificial intelligence agreement signed on Thursday between French President Emmanuel Macron and his Emirates counterpart Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed in Paris.
Artificial intelligence data centers are planned to store data and provide the enormous energy needed for new technology.
According to Macron, the campus will be the largest campus in Europe, dedicated to artificial intelligence.
The project was announced and signed as global experts had begun discussing threats and promises of artificial intelligence at a meeting in Paris on Thursday and Friday, before the summit of world leaders on rapid technology.
