At Apple’s CEO Tim Cook, at the company’s financial meeting, answered analysts’ questions about the company’s ambitions in the field of artificial intelligence. He said during his talk that artificial intelligence models Deepseek Indicates “innovation that increases efficiency.”
According to a single -corner report, Cook said in response to a question by an analyst on how Deepseek’s artificial intelligence models have on Apple’s profit margin:
“In general, I think innovation that increases efficiency is a good thing. And that’s what you see in that model (Deepseek). “
Apple’s approach to artificial intelligence
Cook further emphasized that Apple uses a hybrid model for its artificial intelligence, in which some simple tasks are done locally through the machine chips. At the same time, there are more complex tasks performed in cloudy space through collaboration with artificial intelligence models.
Apple’s CEO also says in part of his remarks that the iPhone’s giant has always had a “cautious and thoughtful” approach to these costs:
“And for Capex (Capital Cost), we always have a very comprehensive and conscious approach to our costs and continue using the combined model that I think is still good at us.”
Apple is currently involved with only an artificial intelligence company, OpenAI, allowing iPhone users to receive complex questions from ChatGPT. Apple, of course, has announced that its partnership with Openai is not exclusive and may be added to the iPhone in the future of other companies’ artificial intelligence models such as Google or Claude. Cook made no mention of Deepseek’s integration with the iPhone at its recent session.
