Launching the hub of artificial intelligence and digital economy in Kish Island

On the sidelines of the second Iran Petrocom conference, which started at the international conference hall of Kish Island, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between “Hossein Afshin”, Vice President for Science, Technology and Knowledge-Based Economy, “Mohammed Shariatmadari”, CEO and Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company and “Mohammed Jaafar Kabiri”, Chairman of the Board of Directors and CEO of the Free Zone Organization Kish was concluded.

This tripartite cooperation agreement, considering the importance of knowledge-based economy development, has been formed with the aim of developing inter-sectoral cooperation and in line with the transformation of Kish Free Zone into a hub of technology and digital economy innovation based on artificial intelligence.
