Users can now make phone calls with ChatGPT + photos

On the 10th day of the event to introduce its new products and features, OpenAI announced that American users can have a 15-minute free phone conversation with ChatGPT by dialing 1-800-CHATGPT.

Tonight, OpenAI unveiled a new way to invite new users to chat with ChatGPT. This method, which could be the easiest way to talk to the company’s advanced artificial intelligence, makes it possible for US users to have a voice chat with ChatGPT via the phone number 1-800-CHATGPT.

Also, other global users can text chatbot at 1-800-242-8478 on WhatsApp. This feature does not currently support photo analysis or more advanced features.

There is a limit of 15 minutes of free calls per number per month. An OpenAI spokesperson has said that these calls are not used to train language models. Also, the text chat feature with ChatGPT in WhatsApp uses the GPT-4o artificial intelligence model.

Users looking to experience the more professional capabilities of ChatGPT can talk to this AI through the chatbot’s app or web interface.
