Google has recently added a new feature to Gemina’s artificial intelligence, with the help of which, it is possible to summarize the folders in the company’s cloud space.
The interaction of Gemina’s artificial intelligence with the Google Drive service provides many features and capabilities to users, one of the newest of which is the feature of summarizing the contents of folders. This artificial intelligence-based assistant is now able to summarize everything that is inside a cloud folder for users and save their time significantly.
Gemina’s new feature is available with the Summarize this folder button at the top of the Google Drive page and is activated with one click. Also, users can use this feature to find a specific file in the folder or ask the chatbot questions about the content in the folder.
Which users can summarize the Google Drive folder?
To interact with the Gemini chatbot directly in Google Drive, you can right-click on the folder and then select Ask Gemini. However, according to Google, this feature currently only supports text files, PDF, Excel tables and PowerPoint. Of course, in independent reviews, it has been shown that Gemina has the ability to recognize photos inside a cloud folder. The said new feature is currently only available to subscribers of the Google One AI paid plan, and users of the free version will not be able to use it.
