X recently introduced a new artificial intelligence image generation model named Aurora has added to its Grok assistant. The new model can produce more realistic images than Grok’s other image generator, and has fewer restrictions on what it can produce.
As TechCrunch explains in its report, Aurora, like Grok, is available to all users. You can use this image generation model through the new “Grok 2 + Aurora beta” option in the Grok model selection section.
“Chris Park”, an employee of X, announced the release of this model in a post. He wrote, quoting Sam Altman’s post that OpenAI had some interesting news on Monday.
“xAI doesn’t have to wait until Monday… Congrats to xAI for releasing the new Aurora image generation model! The Grok 2 + Aurora is now available in the App X model selection. Oh! Meanwhile, Grok 3 is being prepared.”
TechCrunch also says that the model can reproduce well-known copyrighted characters like Mickey Mouse and Bloody Donald Trump, but it can’t be used for nude images.
One of the X users with the new X image generation artificial intelligence model was able to produce the following images of Ray Romano and Adam Sandler, American actors, which are very realistic.
Aurora’s image generation artificial intelligence has been released while X recently made Grok available to all users for free. Until now, users had to buy an $8 monthly X subscription to use Grac. Now with the free version of Grok, you can send up to 10 messages to Grok every 2 hours and analyze 3 images with it daily.
