Google Workspace is launching a Gemina-based feature that allows users to create images for their documents in Google Docs with artificial intelligence.
Google Docs has received several AI-based features since the beginning of this year. One of these features allowed users to create covers for documents. But the newly added feature, which is based on Gemina’s artificial intelligence, allows you to create images related to the content of your documents and place them inside the text.
Google Docs is equipped with the ability to create images using Gemina
Microsoft had previously added a similar feature to its office applications, where users could use artificial intelligence to create images and use them in their files. In order not to lag behind the competition, Google also brings such a feature to the Docs service using Jimnai.
Of course, the ability to generate Google Docs images is only available to paid Google Workspace users, which includes Gemini Business, Enterprise, Education, Education Premium and Google One AI Premium plans.
If you are one of the paid users of Google Workspace and want to use this feature, if access to this feature is enabled for you, you can go to Insert > Image > Help me create an image Access it.
By activating this option, a sidebar called “Create an image” will appear. Then you can write the specifications of the image you need in the corresponding box and wait for a while for Gemina to create the desired image for you.
Google has also included numerous personalization features. For example, it is possible to choose a photo style such as photography or sketch. Also, you can choose square, horizontal, or vertical aspect ratios for the images to best fit the layout of your flyer, menu, or whatever you’re trying to create.
This feature takes advantage of Google’s Imagen 3 imager artificial intelligence, which promises better detail, richer lighting, and fewer artifacts than its predecessors.
