Artificial intelligence of Flux visualization is one of the products of Black Forest Labs. The company was founded by some former experts of Stable Diffusion. In version 1.1, this artificial intelligence has introduced a new feature called Raw Mode to create more realistic images.
According to Petapixel, the Raw Mode introduced for the artificial intelligence of the Flux imager is not similar to the capabilities of Adobe’s Camera Raw and other RAW applications, but it is still related to the field of photography and imaging. The developer claims this feature is for “content creators who are looking for originality”.
With the help of Raw Mode, you can produce more realistic and creative images
According to the developers of Black Forest Labs, the Raw Mode feature can capture the true feeling of honest photography. Also, using this feature, users can create images that look less artificial and appear more natural from the audience’s point of view.
In addition, compared to artificial intelligence services for converting text to photos, the Raw Mode feature can significantly increase the diversity of human subjects and increase the realism of nature photography.
Black Forest Labs also shared a collection of images that this feature created. As you can see in the image above, it’s really hard to tell if these images are created by AI or not, and they look pretty much real (except for the octopus sitting in a bathtub wearing a hat, of course).
Version 1.1 of Flux artificial intelligence is also equipped with a mode called Ultra, which allows users to produce images four times sharper than normal specifications without deviating from the original request.
Black Forest Labs says that unlike many models that experience a significant slowdown in high resolutions, the image production time with this mode is still very high. The company claims that the speed of producing images by their artificial intelligence is about 2.5 times faster than similar models with high resolution.
