Artificial intelligence chatbot Claude From Anthropic (Anthropic) can now with language JavaScript Write code and run it. Entropic has launched a new analytics tool that the startup says will help its AI Claude provide “accurate mathematical answers.” With this tool, now in preview, Claude can analyze data from files like spreadsheets and PDFs and present the results interactively.
Anthropic says in its blog post:
“This analysis tool acts as a built-in sandbox for the code, with which Claude can solve complex math problems, analyze the data, and generate various ideas before sharing the answer. “Instead of relying on abstract analysis, this tool can systematically process your data and deliver the best result by cleaning, exploring and analyzing step by step.”
Claude Artificial Intelligence Use Cases
Entropic also provided some examples of how this new tool would work. For example, a product manager could upload their sales data and have Claude AI analyze country-specific performance.
Of course, Claude had this capability before, but because it didn’t have a mechanism to verify the results mathematically, its answers were not always accurate.
Google has a similar feature for its Gemini models called Code Execution, which allows artificial intelligence to generate and execute Python code. OpenAI’s flagship models can also write and run code through what the startup calls “advanced data analytics.”
The entropic analysis tool has been made available to all Claude web users since Thursday.
