Galaxy AI will only be free until 2025

The Galaxy Tab 10 and Galaxy S24 FE series were announced last week, and Galaxy AI was one of Samsung’s most unexpected innovations in new products.

All the artificial intelligence features of these new Samsung products are currently free; However, Samsung has reiterated that users may have to pay for these features in the future.

In its press release for the official unveiling of the new Tab S10 and S24 FE series, Samsung explicitly stated that “fees may apply to some AI features at the end of 2025”. Samsung previously confirmed that “Galaxy AI features will be available for free on supported Samsung Galaxy devices until the end of 2025,” so it’s safe to assume that Samsung’s AI suite or certain parts of it won’t be free in the future.
