The need to develop artificial intelligence regulations

He emphasized that artificial intelligence laws should be formulated in such a way as to encourage innovation and research on the one hand and to prevent possible abuses and ethical problems in the use of this technology on the other hand. He believes: “Regulations should not only have a restrictive aspect; Rather, they should provide a platform so that investors and researchers can confidently operate in this field. This can help the faster growth of artificial intelligence technology in Iran.”

At the end of his speech, Ghasemi emphasized the need to formulate comprehensive and practical laws in the field of artificial intelligence, and noted that due to the rapid growth of this technology at the global level, Iran needs quick and smart action in this field. “If we fail to formulate appropriate regulations in time, we will not only be left behind in taking advantage of the opportunities of artificial intelligence, but we may also face new challenges,” he said. The time has come to create appropriate legal frameworks for the sustainable development of artificial intelligence in the country.”
