Apple is currently working on a new version of the Siri voice assistant and synchronizing it with the artificial intelligence service Apple Intelligence. According to the latest news, the new version of Siri may be available to users earlier than we imagine and in early 2025.
According to Mark Garman of Bloomberg, a new and redesigned version of the voice assistant Siri equipped with more advanced artificial intelligence capabilities is going to be released together with the Apple Intelligence service. Therefore, it is likely that some of the new features of Siri will be released simultaneously with the release of iOS 18.3 and in January next year (around January).
Some new features of the Siri voice assistant will be released soon
Previously, these features were supposed to be released in iOS 18.4, but it seems that Apple has changed the release date of these new features for unknown reasons. However, Mark Garman has further mentioned that users should wait until the release of iOS 18.4 to access all the new features of Siri. It is expected that the iOS 18.4 update will be available to users in March 2025 (around March).
According to Apple’s schedule, iOS 18.1 will be completed this week and released to the public in mid-October. Also, the release of the iOS 18.2 update has been postponed to December (around December).
Devices receiving the iOS 18.1 update can also benefit from the latest Apple Intelligence features. It should be noted that the Apple Intelligence service will only be available for the iPhone 15 and 15 Pro Max devices, as well as the iPhone 16 series. Older versions of the iPhone cannot receive Apple Intelligence due to hardware limitations. Also, more Apple Intelligence features will be available to users with the release of iOS 18.2 update.
The new version of the Siri voice assistant, which is optimized with artificial intelligence capabilities, is expected to have a higher ability to understand the words of users and also be able to synchronize with various applications more easily.
