Last month, Gems launched for Gemina on desktop, and now the feature is coming to the AI’s mobile app, along with Gemina’s new homepage design. In fact, Gems are tools that allow Gemini to guide you or do certain things for you. This feature allows you to create a custom Gemini for repetitive and routine tasks. This feature, which was only limited to the desktop version of Google’s artificial intelligence chatbot, is now available for Android and iOS.
Currently, Gems is available for the Gemini app on Android and iOS, and the Recent section has now been renamed to Chat & Gems, 9to5Google reports. If you haven’t seen this update yet, close and relaunch Gemini.
The “Gem manager” feature now appears in the avatar menu next to the three main tabs: All, Your Gems, and By Google. When you open a custom chatbot, you’ll get a description and sample icons of how to use it.
But this is not the only change; It looks like an interesting redesign is being implemented for Gemina’s home page, where the word “Hello” is no longer present and the suggestions have been removed.
The home page now says “How may I help you?” (?How can I help you) shows.
This new update to the home page simplifies the user interface and somewhat reminds us of the clean and simple Google search home page. For people who tend to use Gemini a lot, these rotating suggestions may no longer be useful. However, it seems that the redesigned homepage is not yet available to everyone.
Integration of Gemina with other Google services
Gemini recently received updates from Google to make this AI easier to use. For example, you can now use this Google AI to create forms in Google Forms, and you can also use this chatbot to search your Gmail mailbox in a more advanced way.
