Apple officially revealed its cooperation with OpenAI

In line with its efforts to add artificial intelligence to its products, Apple has recently partnered with OpenAI, the creator of ChatGPT chatbot.

After Samsung and Google unveiled advanced artificial intelligence for their phones last year and this year, Apple also struggled to bring attractive features to its new products. Tonight, during Apple’s WWDC 2024 conference, we have seen the unveiling of this company’s artificial intelligence, Apple Intelligence. But apparently Apple has a bigger dream and wants to achieve this dream in collaboration with the creator of ChatGPT.

OpenAI is the same company that founded CharGPT and now Apple wants to shake hands with it. Of course, the American company was initially negotiating with Google, but due to some reasons, that negotiation failed, and now Apple should be considered a friend and partner of OpenAI.

This cooperation means a lot, one of the most important of which is the possibility of using ChatGPT to provide better, more organized and accurate answers. Also, because the use of ChatGPT is free for Apple users, as a result of this cooperation, it can bring a lot of profit for the users of the American company.

Although the core and beating heart of Apple in the field of artificial intelligence is Apple Intelligence, users can log into their OpenAI account and benefit from ChatGPT’s artificial intelligence models. These models can be used in Siri and as part of the new smart writing tools among other features in iOS 18 and iPadOS 18 and MacOS Sequoia.

But the turning point of the story is that when someone asks Siri a complex question that this voice assistant cannot answer, ChatGPT will come to his aid and will probably be able to answer a wide range of questions. Although ChatGPT is free for Apple users, even these people can purchase a paid subscription to meet their needs without restrictions.

Apple has not stopped working with OpenAI to make progress in the field of artificial intelligence. In this regard, the American company plans to cooperate with other developers of artificial intelligence models. Apple’s collaboration with OpenAI is a turning point for Sam Altman, CEO of this company, because he expressed his happiness about it.
