Last month OpenAI from artificial intelligence model Sora It unveiled that it can turn users' text requests into stunning videos. Now the Chief Technology Officer of OpenAI has announced to the Wall Street Journal that Sora this year for All users It will be published and maybe we will see its public release “in a few months”.
The Sora AI model was initially made available only to visual artists, designers and filmmakers last month. Now “Mira Moratti”, the chief technology officer of OpenAI, has announced in an interview with the Wall Street Journal that the public version will be released in the next few months.
More features for the Sora AI model
According to Moratti, OpenAI also plans to add the ability to generate sound to its model to make the videos it creates more realistic.
OpenAI wants to allow users to edit content generated by Sora, as AI tools don't always produce the exact videos users want. Moratti tells the Wall Street Journal:
“We're trying to figure out how users can use this technology as a tool to edit and create content.”
In this interview, Moratti was also asked about the data used to train Sora. Without mentioning specific details, he stated that publicly available or licensed data was used. Moratti also says he's not sure if YouTube, Facebook, or Instagram videos were used for this purpose, but he confirmed that Sora uses Shutterstock content, which is partnered with OpenAI.
