It makes sense that Google wants to change Bard's name to Gemina to keep the names of the company's AI tools consistent. The tech giant unveiled the new Gemina model at the end of 2023 and has since integrated this multi-faceted model into some of its products, including Bard.

Possible changes in Google's artificial intelligence

According to reports, the advanced version of Gemini will give users access to the Gemini Ultra 1.0 model, which is much more capable of highly complex tasks such as coding, logical reasoning, following subtle instructions, and creative collaboration. This version will be available in more than 150 countries and is initially optimized for English.

Google Bard is also likely to get an Android app after rebranding to Gemina. There is currently no preview of the app, but evidence suggests that it will be very similar to the current Google Assistant experience on Android.
