Microsoft has recently made the Pro version of its artificial intelligence assistant Copilot available to the general public. Priced at $20 per month, this service has similar features to ChatGPT, which has recently gained a lot of attention.
Office 365 users can benefit from its features in Office software such as Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint by purchasing a Copilot Pro subscription. Copilot can help users in writing texts, answering questions, summarizing and suggesting next sentences for further reading.
Previously, the Pro version of Copilot was only available to organizations with at least 300 subscribers, but now this restriction has been lifted so that small and medium-sized companies can also use it. Microsoft has stated that the demand for CoPilot has been much higher than expected and that small companies have been very receptive to it.
This action by Microsoft is aimed at gaining more market share in the field of language models of artificial intelligence. Microsoft also plans to launch a tool similar to the OpenAI marketplace in the near future, with which ordinary users can create their own personal co-pilot.
