Shasta Holding signed 22 technology development contracts with knowledge-based companies. These contracts were concluded and unveiled in a ceremony at the International Conference Center of the National Library.
The unveiling ceremony of these contracts was held in the presence of Ruhollah Dehghani, Scientific Vice President, Aref Nowrozi, CEO of Shasta, Alireza Askarian, Deputy Minister of Welfare, and Ahmed Khani Nozari, Deputy Minister of Commerce of the Ministry of Agriculture.
In line with the use of knowledge-based products in the field of animal husbandry with the aim of improving productivity, improving livestock production and feeding indicators, Shasta Holding publicized its technological needs in the form of 8 calls and 22 calls for technological needs. 112 companies passed the related screening and after exchanging opinions and summarizing, related contracts were concluded.

Mohsen Mohammadi, CEO of Tamin Shasta Public Industries Company, called this company a multi-disciplinary company in the fields of animal husbandry, household appliances and electronic appliances and added: “This company, which became a public stock this year, is going to be offered soon. do the initial share in the stock market.
Mohammadi announced that 800 billion tomans will be invested in these projects over 5 years, and added: “Based on the calculations, more than two thousand billion tomans of added value will be created for the holding groups. It will happen, which is a very good and auspicious event, because it will both help the companies' profitability and will make the elite and young workers who work in knowledge-based companies be able to be present in the industry with less risk.”
Among these projects, Mr. Mohammadi mentioned the feed and animal health monitoring project, that the smart collar project has been implemented in Feka animal husbandry and good results have been achieved. In addition to that, the smart livestock project has been implemented by installing cameras in livestock farms and image processing with the aim of increasing productivity in livestock. Also, the fodder technological supply plan has been implemented in Mallard Shir Company.
Mr. Mohammadi mentioned the smartening of home appliance production lines as one of the other plans in these contracts and added: “This plan helps to update the production lines in this sector to increase production and create more productivity.”
Mohammadi also mentioned the construction of a solar power plant in the Damon Zagros company in Borujerd. This plan has been implemented as a trial in this company. He also added: “One of the other important projects is the establishment of an innovation center in Pars Electric Company, which is to be carried out in cooperation with the Research and Technology Fund of Tehran University, so that we can make more use of the available capacities in Pars Electric Company.”
It should be noted that the scientific vice-chancellor has recently turned to the development of basic and strategic technologies in various fields. These technologies are usually in the development phase and are years away from becoming a final product. For this reason, the cooperation of large companies and investment holdings of the country, such as National Oil Company and Shasta Holding, is seen in these investments.
